Full Coverage or Liability?

I just bought my first car, and I am needing to buy insurance.  Is it required that I have full coverage auto insurance?

No, you are not required to have full coverage car insurance.  Although having full coverage will benefit you in cases of theft, acts of God, etc., you are only required to have liability insurance.  This protects you and the other driver if you are in an accident.  Your medical bills, and the medical bills of the other person involved are covered by liability insurance.  I found the answer to this question and a number of others from car insurance arizona 123.
