Proposed Fuel Economy Standards for 2011

The proposed fuel economy standards for the future are one of the major things that everyone seems to be worried about.  What do we do about the crisis? The answer seems to lie somewhere in the technological realm.  If we take more time out to research the various technological things, then we just might have a chance.  But seriously, the future of our earth as well as our existence on it depends on how we choose to conserve or not conserve energy now.  We need to make sure that we are being careful with how we are using energy.  This comes down to things such as deciding what kind of a car you are going to purchase.  For instance, if you are planning on purchasing a vehicle, choose one, instead, that gets really good gas mileage- not one that looks "cool" on television.  It’ll save you a bunch of money in the long run and will be better for the environment.
