Cheap Solar energy panels

The one thing which is really costly in any solar system is the solar energy panels. They are really costly stuff and then they are prone to the weather hiccups as well. Rain storms and other climatic conditions can have bad effects on these solar panels. The world is trying to get a cheap solution for these panels so that the initial cost of solar energy systems can be reduced. These are not the best solution for energy right now but the world is hopeful that scientist will get the required work out of them in very less affordable rates.
