From a House to a Home - and Garden

My husband and I decided to help our son and his wife when they got married. We bought them a small starter home in a quiet little neighborhood.

But the house we could afford was a fixer-upper and needed help. Luckily, both my husband and son are very good at fixing and repairing.

We all spent several weekends scraping, painting, installing carpet. There were many trips to the home improvement store for faucets, tools, and electrical supplies.

And we spent one entire day installing new sod, flowers, and Orbit Lawn Sprinkler.

But, at the end of few weeks, we had turned a shabby little house into a pretty, cozy little starter home, complete with flowers, soft green lawn, and blooming roses.
