People with small bathrooms can still have a little bit of luxury. They make many different types of corner hot tubs which take up less space and can be used in smaller bathrooms. Hot tubs can be pricey, but if you can afford them it is a nice thing to have, especially for people with arthritis, or sore muscles. A nice hot soak is very soothing, especially in the winter time when it is cold outside. You could come in from shoveling snow and warm up by taking a nice soak in your corner hot tub, or relax after a hard day at work.
