The biggest concern that many people have while they are attempting to get started as a groomer is actually being accepted to a dog grooming school.  While most people just assume that a school will accept anyone who can afford the tuition there are plenty of schools that are quite picky about whom they will accept.  Knowing if you can be accepted or not is extremely important since it will have a huge impact on the overall manner in which your school operates.  For the most part, upscale schools that are highly specialized require at least some knowledge of grooming before allowing attendance, though this can often be rearranged depending on the situation.
