The Basics of Bamboo Flooring
Have you heard of bamboo flooring earlier? You may have seen some of them on display in certain stores. Floors made of bamboo are different from oak, maple, beech, and other hardwoods. Bamboo is a type of grass and not a tree, and thus it differs from hardwoods. Some species of bamboo can reach to a height of 100 feet or more tall and the diameter can be up to a foot. Bamboo floors share similarities with hardwood floors. Unlike carpeting, they are hypoallergenic and do not have any place for dust, pollens, mildew, allergens, or pet dander to hide.
