The Genius Who Designed Adirondack Chairs

A man who invents something for the comfort and betterment of the lives of others is one genius mind.  For me, there is no greater thing if you can invent something that would provide comfort to people despite the roll of times.  One such man was Thomas Lee who designed the first adirondack chairs. In the early 1900s, Thomas Lee first created the design of the Adirondack chair. He was determined to develop a chair that would be appropriate for both indoor and outdoor use. Using standard boards and nails, Lee also thought of a chair that was very comfortable.  To achieve his dream chair, Lee sought the honest opinions of family and friends.  Finally he completed his prototype to what is now known as Adirondack chair.  Although the design looked anything but comfortable, the consensus of his family and friends was that the chair was actually very comfortable.  In 1904, Lee was able to secure a patent for his masterpiece.
