Love Women’s Fashion from the 1950s

We watched Pal Joey last night with Sinatra, Rita Hayworth and Kim Novak. What a great movie. First of all, the location shots in San Francisco were incredible. Also, the style back then was something else. The 1950s really had to be the pinnacle for women’s fashion. Of course, back then they actually designed clothes specifically for a movie. It wasn’t a matter of finding appropriate things off the rack some where. It’s a lot different now.

Kim Novak was such a doll. I don’t remember knowing much about her when I was growing up, but it turns out she’s in a bunch of my favorite movies now.
