Tugboats as Radio Controlled Boats
Scaled down RC tugboats are increasing in popularity in the realm of Radio Controlled Boats.
These super tiny versions of an actual tugboat actually have drive systems that are very similar to those found in a real tugboat.
Important components such as propellers and rudder are also included in these models. Clubs have been set up which enable others to enter into competitions to determine whom is the best at maneuvering their model tugboat. They are judged with or without the use of a tow attached.
This sport is constantly evolving due to changes in the technology of their miniaturized engines.
