A British Slant on the Net
A few years ago I joined a friend on a trip to London and we spent a lot of time visiting friends.
It was a lot of fun learning how the British did things. We were especially interested in their taste in entertainment. We found that music and movies were often the same ones we watched in the U.S.
I asked one British friend who works in communications if he had any idea of what British people actually were viewing on the Net. He said they often used a Gfk Online Monitor to do just that. He was able to tell me the most visited websites.
The entire trip was a lot of fun, but, for me, learning about the locals was the highlight.
