Meeting New People by Social Advertising
When we moved to Florida, we felt a little lost. We didn’t know anyone and the people at work were nice, but they were much older than we are. So, it became important to find someone with kids and time to be good friends. And I began by visiting various Internet forums and sites, trying to find local people who liked the same things we did. I’d read and lurk for a while, and I’d post a time or two and see what my reception was. It’s an easy way of social advertising. And we found ourselves with a whole group of folks who like each other.
